by the way guys this is my new tumblr →
so follow, if you’d like. I’ll probably be doing the majority of my posting over there now
Why am I following so many fifteen year old girls on tumblr.
And why do they all seem to like the smiths.
And why do they never go to school, apparently.
I wish I could’ve just spent my teenage years sitting around taking photographs. But nooooooooo, I had to get an education. Ehhhhh
rmzy:
this is my Ampharos
YESSSSS
My Ampharos is nicknamed Bradford Cox, so right now I’m imagining this guy playin’ some fucked up shoegaze. Love it.
Deatbeat Summer - Neon Indian
this weird and wonderful song that screams “electropop” and “chillwave” at your face, was only released last year on their first LP Psychic Chasms. When I first heard this, I thought, MGMT. But it sounds a bit like Good Vibrations by the B-Boys too. Hmm, I can’t wait for summer.
I don’t know what I’m going to do the next time I hear someone use the word “chillwave,” but it’s probably going to be violent. Almost as violent as the thoughts I get when people compare bands like Neon Indian to the Beach Boys.
What usually makes you follow someone? Like, do you just want people to follow you back? Or you actually have things in common with them? Or you just see that they're popular on Tumblr and that's why you followed them? (from Anonymous)
I only click the button when my follow senses tingle.
I’m kind of debating in my head whether I want to keep this blog going or not
Lately I’ve just been posting most of what I want to post on my other secret tumblr shhhh don’t tell anybody about it. I mean, it’s not really a secret, it’s just for posting under a different attitude. You might even follow it (but you don’t because nobody follows it ._.) I really like most of the people who I follow on here though, and I’d like to keep in contact with them, plus I’ve got 84 whole followers, how could I give that up?????? Gaaahh this is a dilemma.
Girl from the North Country, one of those songs that makes me cry usually whenever I hear it. Pretty much how I feel about my ex-girlfriend now, as well. Sigh.
Do you have last.fm? (from rustillin2it)
that I do! http://www.last.fm/user/masked_mouse
I have to say, this movie was one of the most pleasant surprises in recent memory. I saw it last night, and honestly, I liked it more than most of the Pixar movies, probably. I’m still confused as to how it could possibly be a dreamworks movie. The training scenes were absolutely adorable and the flying sequences were breathtaking; I can’t remember the last time I was so infatuated with a movie (probably Fantastic Mr. Fox). I absolutely recommend going to see it as soon as possible, in 3D if you can (I’m not the biggest fan of 3D, and the fact that it actually added to the experience was just another thing that surprised me). My inner child hasn’t been this satisfied in a long time.
our musical compatibility is super, with mutual inclinations towards animal collective, pavement, brand new, modest mouse, and the national. (from Anonymous)
